Our family-run business is at home here in Biederach, on the edge of the Black Forest Elztal valley. Our close relationship with the region and its traditions is reflected in our SME company to just the same extent as dynamic progress in technology and management.

Here at Riha Plastic, they work together as a well established team which is geared to finding the solutions to your problems.
Since being founded as a one-man company in 1967, Riha Plastic GmbH has enjoyed on-going further growth and developed into a company which succeeded time and again in satisfying the very latest demands made of plastics moulding and plastics processing in injection moulding. This is safeguarded by keeping pace with state-of-the-art technologies and through the future- and growth-oriented alignment of the company.
Milestones in the company history
1967
Rissler Kunststoffverarbeitung GdbR was founded by Alfred Rissler: It all began in his own home, producing blow-moulding parts in the former farm.
1969
The company becomes RIHA Plastic GmbH & Co. KG named after the Managing Directors Alfred Rissler and Albrecht Haberstroh; Mr. Haberstroh is the founder of the mould construction and toolmaking unit.
1969
Procurement of the first injection moulding machine: ARBURG 200
1974
Construction of the first company building (building I) with production and office rooms on the neighbouring field. The new production hall meanwhile accommodates 10 injection moulding machines.
1986
Extension to the production and office building
1988
Albrecht Haberstroh leaves the company
1995
DIN EN ISO 9001 certificate awarded to the company by the DQS
1997
A further building is completed for toolmaking and for finished parts storage (building II)
1997
The company receives the SICK Supplier Award for the first time
1998
Jürgen Rissler joins the company after completing his training and obtaining a degree
2004
The machinery outfit is extended to 24 injection moulding machines with the addition of a large machine for 350 t together with a 2C machine
2006
First fully electric injection moulding machine
2006
Start of construction for the new warehouse and new production building on the site
2006
Completion and commissioning of the new warehouse (building IV)
2007
Completion and commissioning of the new production building (building III)
